Sa’ed Atshan illustrates the rise of the LGBTQ+ movement in Palestine and the resulting transnational queer movement which stands in solidarity with Palestinians. The existence of an “empire of critique” is also demonstrated, one which has restricted the growth of the Palestinian LGBTQ+ social movement.
